A followup to the Sept 18th “Hawaii Environmental Change Agents” event, "Climate Action Planning Forum" will be similar in format to the previous event, but the focus will be narrowed to concentrate on bills that address climate change. 

The same three legislators — Senator Mike Gabbard (Senate Committee on Agriculture and Environment), Representative Nicole Lowen (House Committee on Energy and Environmental Protection), Representative David Tarnas (House Committee on Water and Land) — will present their priorities, and the participating environmental organizations will present their top priorities.  All participants, including the public, will be invited to join breakout rooms that will be organized by theme.  Bills will be discussed, and the idea is to get a head start on the 2022 legislative session.
